Minutes of the Finance Meeting of Wadsworth Parish Council
held on Tuesday 9th January 2018
in the Council Chamber, Hebden Bridge Town Hall


1    MEMBERS PRESENT
Councillors Ring (Chairman), Fowler, Hughes, Kimber, Wade, Lynch, Spencer and Beasley.
       
Apologies were received from Councillor Bell

2    DISCUSSION OF SPENDING FOR THE YEAR 2018/19
All aspects of funding were thoroughly discussed using the estimated figures provided by the Clerk & items were added by Councillors at the meeting. Concerns were raised regarding the possibility of some significant expense in the forthcoming year.


3   RECOMMENDATION OF LEVEL OF PRECEPT
A few proposals were suggested.It was agreed to discuss these further at the Parish Council meeting on Tuesday 23rd January 2018 where a recommendation will then be approved.
A possible increase in the rent of allotments, parking spaces & garages was also discussed. The Clerk was asked to put the item on the January agenda.
