Top local rhythm and blues band The 844s will be playing three sets at Wadsworth Community Centre on Saturday 18 August. Admission costs £5, and doors open at 7.00pm. Food and cask ales will be available.

The 844s are vocalist and harmonica ace Dave Rigg, lead guitarist Martin McGroarty - a great player with a long musical pedigree, bassist Jerome Dineen, drummer Jim Duffy, and rhythm guitarist and second vocalist Wally Woodcock. The band plays a mixture of original compositions and covers, ranging from slow-burn blues to high-energy rock. They played here last November, and got the joint jumping - and that's just what they plan to do again!

Entry is £5, pay on the door and doors will be at 7:00.
