f you're still undecided about the Greg Russell & Ciaran Algar gig you can hear a wonderful taster on Radio Leeds Folk & Roots Show on Sunday (1st April) at 8:00pm. Or you can hear it on the catch up link below after the show

Multi-instrumentalist Ciaran Algar met Greg Russell, a guitarist with a fine, distinctive voice in 2011. Soon afterwards the duo were signed to Fellside Records and in July 2012 released their debut album, The Queen’s Lover. Numerous tours and two albums have followed. Greg and Ciaran have developed and honed their stage craft, becoming one of the most sought after young acts on the English Folk Scene.  In 2013, the pair picked up the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk award and in 2014 the Horizon Award for Best breakthrough act and in 2015 they were nominees for Best Duo.
Alongside great acoustic music, expect amusing banter.
